As the name suggests, it is the disorder of the thoracic region where the oesophagus gets connected to the trachea. The condition called as oesophageal atresia, where a small portion of the food pipe is not formed and therefore stopping the food to reach the stomach. The surgery is the immediate option post stabilization of the child birth.
